Installing your
eSIMple.

Pick your device below and follow the steps. Most installs take under a minute. You'll need Wi-Fi (or another data connection) to install the eSIM, and the QR code we send by email after your purchase.

Before you start

  • Your device must be eSIM-compatible and network-unlocked. Check the compatible devices list.
  • Install the eSIM at home over Wi-Fi — you only need to scan the QR once.
  • Turn Data Roaming ON for the eSIM line, and turn Roaming OFF for your home SIM to avoid carrier charges.
  • Each QR can only be scanned by one device. Don't share it.

iPhone

  1. 01Scan the eSIM QR code and select "Cellular Plan".
  2. 02Tap "Add Cellular Plan".
  3. 03Set different labels for your current SIM and eSIM, like "Personal" and "Travel".
  4. 04Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIMple line (Settings > Cellular > your eSIM > Data Roaming).

Samsung

  1. 01Scan the eSIM QR code and tap "Add plan to phone".
  2. 02Tap "Confirm", then go to "SIM card manager".
  3. 03Tap "Add mobile plan" and complete installation.
  4. 04Turn on the eSIM line and enable Data Roaming for it.

Google Pixel

  1. 01Go to Settings and follow the on-screen steps.
  2. 02Go to "Download your eSIM", then tap "Next".
  3. 03After scanning the code, turn on "Mobile data" and "Roaming".

OPPO

  1. 01Go to Settings > SIM card and Mobile/Cellular Data.
  2. 02Select eSIM.
  3. 03Accept the terms and continue.
  4. 04Select "Add eSIM".
  5. 05Follow the instructions on screen until you get the option to scan a QR code.
  6. 06Scan the QR code from your eSIMple delivery email.
  7. 07Wait for the installation to complete, then enable Data Roaming.

Huawei

  1. 01Go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management. Even if your device only supports one physical SIM card, SIM 1 and SIM 2 options are shown — the eSIM is installed in the SIM 2 slot by default.
  2. 02Go to SIM 2 > Add eSIM to scan the QR code from your eSIMple delivery email.
  3. 03Enable the eSIM line and turn on Data Roaming.

Xiaomi

  1. 01Go into Settings.
  2. 02Go into "SIM cards & mobile networks".
  3. 03Scroll down until you see "Manage eSIM" and tap it.
  4. 04Tap "Add mobile plan" and scan the QR code.
  5. 05Enable the eSIM line and turn on Data Roaming.

Motorola

  1. 01Go into Settings.
  2. 02Tap "Network & Internet".
  3. 03Tap "Mobile Network".
  4. 04Tap the "Advanced" drop-down menu.
  5. 05Tap "Carrier", then "Add carrier" and continue.
  6. 06Scan the QR code from your eSIMple delivery email.

Other devices

  1. 01Open Settings and search for "eSIM", "Add mobile plan", or "SIM manager".
  2. 02Follow the prompts to scan your QR code from the eSIMple delivery email.
  3. 03If your device asks for manual details instead of a QR, use the SM-DP+ address and activation code included in the same email.
  4. 04Enable Data Roaming for the eSIM line once installed.
